Handlebar Shift Controls A Dual Momentary Contact handlebar mounted switch from Pingel was added to provide the controls for the Up and Down shift.  Kliktronic provides a switch with their unit - we simply liked the Pingel switch better.  Kliktronic also supplies a solenoid control board with their unit, which provides the necessary interface between the momentary handlebar switches and  the solenoid.  We mounted the control unit under the skin of the bike - out of sight.
